During the Bubonic Plague, doctors wore these bird-like masks to avoid becoming sick. They would fill the beaks with spices and rose petals, so they wouldn’t have to smell the rotting bodies.
A theory during the Bubonic Plague was that the plague was caused by evil spirits. To scare the spirits away, the masks were intentionally designed to be creepy.
I have no idea if anyone is interested in this giveaway but I feel bad keeping it when I’m not actually a Blink 182 fan.
I’m doing a giveaway for a Blink 182 pick from the Honda Civic Tour and a Travis Barker sticker that was handed out at the show in Toronto.
Rules: I will ship anywhere. Reblog once, not only is multiple reblogging annoying but it also won’t help you cause I’m not doing a random generator thing. I will check out each blog that is competing and choose someone I think has a great blog and is a big Blink fan based on how their blog and posts look.
I will choose a winner the day before Halloween, so October 30.
You don’t have to be following me. Have your asks on though cause I’ll need a way to contact you if you’ve won.
I hope I can find someone that wants to be the happy new owner of these items :) Good luck.

blink-182 are busier than they have been in years with the release of Neighborhoods and the 2011 Honda Civic Tour. Earlier today however, Mark Hoppus chatted online with fans and stated that blink-182 has discussed the possibility of doing a ten year anniversary tour for Take Off Your Pants And Jacket in 2012. Hoppus also said the band plans on playing in clubs again. You can watch the full video below by clicking “Read More”!
